MICHAEL E. MERNICK, CPA, is a graduate of the University of Miami and earned his master's degree from Florida International University. A CPA since 1968, he had extensive accounting experience, and also served as chief financial officer of a women's apparel manufacturer.
Michael's areas of expertise include industry, condominium associations and individual tax accounting. He is a certified family and insurance mediator.
ROBERT J. LINFELD, CPA, is a graduate of the University of South Florida and has been a CPA since 1974. Previously, he served as senior tax advisor at a major accounting firm, managed the tax department at an international corporation and served as CFO of a horse racing and breeding operation.
As head of our tax and estate planning departments, Bob has represented clients in more than 500 IRS audit and collection matters. A former chair of the Dade County Institute of CPA's Estate Planning Committee, he is a frequent lecturer and seminar speaker on both estate tax and income tax matters. For several years, he hosted the call-in radio show "Law & Taxes".
Bob chaired the charter commission that created the City of Sunny Isles Beach. He's an active member of the Aventura Marketing Council.
SUSAN L. CASTON, CPA, graduated from Florida State University and has been a CPA since 1991. With expertise in corporate, trust, private foundation and individual taxation, she has been involved in the auditing of condominiums as well as clients in the manufacturing and service industries.
Suzi assists clients in manufacturing, medical and legal fields from initial start-up to year-end tax planning. Among her specialties is converting clients "from pencil to PC" –– upgrading them to computerized accounting systems that result in substantial savings in time and dollars.
